Do you offer enclosed and unenclosed blower or vacuum pump packages?
Yes, we offer both enclosed and unenclosed blower packages with components chosen based on the application. Standard, custom and factory packages are available. See our Unenclosed & Enclosed Packages page for more information.
What do I need to provide to get a quote for parts and/or full replacement?
The full data plate information, including the full model and serial number, is best.
I need an ATEX blower, do you offer those?
Yes, in these cases we work closely with engineering to ensure that the proper product is selected with the safest outcome for all. Visit our EX ATEX Series page for more information and resources.
I have an older Tuthill blower or vacuum pump; what is the relationship or difference between M-D Pneumatics and Tuthill?
In 2021, Ingersoll Rand purchased Tuthill Vacuum and Blower Systems — M-D Pneumatics was part of that sale. (Tuthill and M-D Pneumatics blowers and vacuum pumps are the same.) Contact us with the model and serial number for parts and replacements.
What lubricant do you recommend for use in M-D Pneumatics blowers and vacuum pumps?
We stock the MD oil and grease formulated for blowers and vacuum pumps. For oil, we offer the full line: MD ONE, MD PLUS, MD MAX, MD FG. We also distribute MD grease, including MD LITHIUM GREASE, used on some CP models. Visit our Lubricants page for more information, including a guide to help you choose the best fit for your application.
Do the blowers ship with oil (lubricant) in them?
No, MD oil is shipped with the blower and vacuum pump, to be added once the unit is in place. A CP Series unit with grease on the drive end and oil in the gear end ships pre-greased, but you need to add oil before start-up.
